Jade

Jade is an ornamental precious rock, with a distinctive deep green colour. It is actually used to refer to two different types of rock: nephrite and jadeite. It has been used for sculpture, jewellery and many other forms of Asian art. In particular, the use of jade in China dates back to the Neolithic period, when it was used to make ritual forms of common tools and weapons.
